Meals & Grocery shopping

I am sorry that I did not post anything these last days. But today I got something for you.Well as you might know, I live alone in my flat in Saarbrooklyn. So I can do whatever I want but I also have to cook for myself everyday! Pehaps most of you think that it is boring to cook for yourself. But I have to say that I just LOVE it. Yes I really do, because I can cook whatever I want and nobody will eat my food *haha*. Everything is for me.

But first you have to go and do some grocery shopping. So let´s go! WAIT !
Did you make a shopping list? Well I don´t think so.

It is important that you think about what you wanna buy and that you write it down. If you don´t do it, you´ll go to the shop and buy whatever you can see and think ahh well this and this and this & in the end you´ve bought so much more than you wanted. And I bet that you bought so many crap for example cookies or some soda or some small chocolate bars !

  1. Sit down and take your time to write your list
  2. Plan your meals for the entire week (so you don´t have to go to  the grocery a second time) 
  3. Always buy some meat, fruits and vegetables an water!
  4.  Avoid to go past the chocolate and cookies section

Whenever you prepare your meals you should count the time in you need to prepare them. Preparation is the key ! So perhaps you can buy some boxes and prepare all your meals in one day and put them in your fridge. Now you don´t need to think anymore: What should I eat today and tomorrow? Here some inspiration and  what I love to eat in the evening.

UNI-FIT


Evening lovelies, well as I said my blog is also about my days through Fitness.

 Yeah Yeah everybody knows that fitness is expensive (at least in Luxembourg). So while I was at school in Luxembourg I never went to the fitness because in my opinion 50euros is way too much. And there was no fitness who was close to my village. ( I don´t have my own car)

BUT

when I came here to Saarbrooklyn for my Arthistory studies at Saarbrooklyn University I decided that I´ll start my fitness sessions. And I can tell you it was so easy! We have our own fitness at our university campus and it is for everybody. So I made a contract for 1 year and I only have to pay 18euro per month. No I didn´t write a mistake *hihi*. 

The first time I went to the fitness I had to pass an introduction and I got a trainer. Together we made a workout plan. And then I could start my workouts.

Today I only had a little workout because I´ve been sick the last days & as you know it is not that healthy to workout when you´re sick.

Therefore I´ll show you my fitness and some of my fitness stuff. 

I love going to my fitness, people a friendly, respect you and nobody makes fun of anybody who isn´t that good.

The Countdown

Well as I already mentioned I´m going to one of the most wonderful towns I´ve ever been ( I´ve been there already 2 times. 1st time in 2009 with school & 2nd time with my Best Friend in 2010)

I´ll just tell you a short version of the 2 first trips. Well, when we went there as a class it was quite ´boring´ we only did some school stuff and stayed there for 3 days so it was a short trip. But I enjoyed it. It was my second time in the UK and the first time in London and we went there by train YES with the eurostar the awesome train that goes from Calais (FR) to Dover (UK) through an underwater tunnel. We were quite long on the road.- 8hours.


2nd time was on my 17th birthday 2010. I totally freaked out. haha We flew from Luxembourg to the London City Airport. The flight didn´t take long. Only 60 minutes but it was something special for me because it was my first flight and the first time I´ve ever been in an airplaine. I loved it. When we arrived in London we stayed at the St.Georges In Victoria Hotel. It was nothing special because the entire vacation was last minut. We visited the usually things but not everything. Some things I loved was Madame Tussauds, Hyde Park and Covent Garden and of course a boat Trip on the Thames and of course the Big Ben.


But now lets come to the most important part!!

This year I ll go to London with my lovely boyfriend. We stay there 6 days, from 22.december-27.december. So we celebrate Christmas in London. I am so excited how the entire city will look like! So I can do my christams shopping there but I ll not take to much time because if I do that I already know somebody who will be very grumpy *hihi*

A Lovestory

I met my love Michel 3 years ago I still know the date when I first saw him it was 27th october 2011 when I was at a birthday party of a friend.
He came with a guy I knew from my athletic club and when he entered the room I was like OMG look at him! And well those who know me know that I love to talk *hihi*. So I walked by and just started talking with him. I found out that his name was Michel and that he was there with friends of his football team. 
And here it all started we talked to each other for an hour and when he left I felt sad that I didn´t ask him for his phonenumber. But lucky me that there is facebook and I knew his Best Friend Samy a little bit. So I just asked him for the entire name.
I added him on facebook and asked for his phonenumber *happyme*
We started writing everday and in November and December 2011 we had some dates & then 10th December we came together *dammmdammm*.

Now we are almost 3years in couple and I just love love love him!  He accepts me how I am with all my weird attitudes and my hundreds of fails. He can make me smile just by looking at me. We already had so much fun and had such a great time.We love doing sports at Lultzhausen where he works in summer or going to the cinema, having dinner with out best friends in our favorite chinese restaurant. We also love parlor games evenings and so on. 2012 we went to Paris for Christmas it was just so beautiful!

And this year we are going to  London also for Christmas.(22-27 December)  Only 48 Days To Go! I can´t wait!!

Breakfast


I know not everbody likes having breakfast, because they are not hungry in the morning, they don´t know what to eat or they say that they have no time. But i can tell you they just talk out of. Because our body needs to be fed in the morning to start the day. When I started university a year ago I had to make my own breakfast every morning. At the beginning it was a bit difficult not to quit but now I got used to and I have to avow that my favorite meal is breakfast. Because when you had a good delicious breakfast you´ll not be hungry until lunchtime! To have a healthy breakfast you can  feed your stomach with some proteins, fruits, tea and for me something important carbohydrates in the morning. So you don´t have or even need to eat much other carbohydrates during the day.


Here some breakfast recipes


 

Weetabix with fruits & oat milk


You need:

  • 2 Weetabix ´cookies´

  • a hand full of strawberries ( or other fruits)

  • Oat milk

Preparation

1.Take to Weetabix cookies and crush them with a spoon in a bowl

2. Wash and cut your strawberries into small pieces and at them to the weetabix

3. Fill your bowl with 100-150ml oat milk

4. Mix everything and your breakfast is done


It only takes a few minutes, but if you wanna save time cut your fruits the previous evening.



 

Wholemeal flour, protein powder & fruit pancakes with Green Tea 

For 4-5 Pancakes


You need:

  • 45 Gr wholemeal flour

  • 30 Gr protein powder

  • 1 egg

  • 1 TS agave sugar or stevia

  • 100ml Oatmilk 

  • Strawberries

  • Pears

  • Apricots

  • Green Tea

Preparation:

1. Put all the ingredienst except the fruits and the green tea *hihi*

2. Mix it until you have a slightly liquid dough

3. Put the dough in a pan with a soupspoon of olive oil

4. Cut your fruits and put them in a decoratic way on your plate, the German say:Das Auge isst mit ;)

5.Put your pancakes on the plate and use some fruits as Topping

6.Boil water and put your teabag in acup, wait 3-4 miuntes and then put it out , now you have a delicious full flavour Green Tea

Hey! 

I am happy you found the way to my blog. I am a freaky girl from Luxembourg who works out quite everyday. I love to cook some yummi reciepes and even create myself some. I try to bake vegan cakes and cookies as often as I can. When I am at university I hit the gym and love cycling. When I am at home I go for long walks or run as often as I can. 

I started sports 11 years ago. The first sports I did was Athletics and I prefered hurdles. I did it with passion but stopped after 7 years for personal reasons. I am on my back to the field but first I have to finish my Bachelor in History of Arts. Only one year to go. YEAH!

Since April 2014 I hit the gym and I love it! Feels so good to be fit and get a little more defined body.

Here on my blog I´ll post some fitness stuff or yummi reciepes, some life post abour Vacations, new ins and advenrtures. So step by from time to time and follow me on my instagram account.
