Bananacake

Happy saturday everyone!
Today I got something yummi but healthy & vegan for you.
It is a bananacake. I wanted to create something new so I made a healthy banancake. I had to reduce the ingerdients cause I got only 2 bananas left as my dear daddy  ate one without telling me. So I came home and surprise surprise only 2 bananas left. So I had to reduce the ingredients but I ll show you the normal reciepe. ;)
Here we go.

You need:
3 Bananas
150gr shredded oats
1/2 Tsp backing powder
50gr shredded almonds
150ml almond milk or soy milk
10-12 hazelnuts
3Tbsp oil 

How you do it:
1. Squish the 3 Bananas with a fork. (It doesn't matter if the bananas ar already a bit brown)
2. Add the oats and stir it well.
3. Then add the milk, the baking powder, the almonds, the oil and the hazelnuts.
4. Heat your oven to 180degrees.
5.Put your into your form ( you should take a small form)
6.Let your cake bake for 40-45 min.

Japenese Restaurant review

Hey sweeties!
How are you doing? I hope you re fine.
Well today I have something for my luxemburgish readers and followers.
On sunday evening I ve been to a Japenese Restaurant in Mersch called Tokyo Garden. I've been there with my boyfriend an another couple.
Our idea was to test a new (new for us) restaurant but not a "boring" one. So we landed there.

When you enter it is quite big and you can see two big tables that makes an almost closed rectangle. On your chair there is a sort of kimono waiting for you. You have to wear it. I' ll tell you why.
 The restaurant is all bout show cooking! On the left and on the right you have a cooking area where the cook will prepare your food in front of you. It is quite excited. You can chose between a meat 30€ and fish 35€ menu, a sushi 30€ menu & some other stuff. My friends decided to try the meat menu & I chose a normal meal which was an arranged sushi plate.


The show began! The cook arrived and started to with putting some oil, meat & fish on the cooking area. On the left and right side a servant put the plates so they can heat up a little. The cook made some acrobatic moves. And the meat was served on little plates. Afterwards there was another meat round for my friends, followed with some yummi noodles with vegetables. But there was a little highlight. The cook made an omelet and cut it into small pieces. Now there was a littke contest. The cook threw the small pieces to every guest, which had to catch it with his mouth. We all got 3 chances. That was really funny and entertaining. As dessert we got some ice cream- one green tea and one strawberry ball. My sushi was delicious and we all had a nice and entertaining evening! :)

Do it by choice

hi fitfam,
the weekend is almost there and tomorrow is my free day! Yeah I get some time for a long bicycle tour in the morning. Can't wait. ( I think it is better for my knee than running) This morning the alarm clock woke me up at 6 a.m and normally I get up at 6:40 a.m but I ve planned that I ll try to go for a morning run on an empty stomach. Lifting Fairy (You absolutely have to check out her blog if you haven't yet) once said that it is good to go on an empty stomach run and that your body burns even more kcal & so I did. 

Grabbed my brooks and my headphones and GO! Well at the moment I am so motivated ! In sports and healty eating. It felt so good to breathe in this fresh morning air and the landscapes were all mine. I met anybody and I felt a bit like I am the only person who is already on track. 
My run wasn't that long and good. Cause after 2km my knee hurt so much.. shitty knee. Since a week it hurts again. I have to see the doc because I can't give up running.

In todays post I want to tell you why it is important that you have goals and that you do what you love.

First of all you need to ask yourself for who you re doing all this? For you or for others who told you , you can't. Forget the others and if you can't tell them: I can and I will, watch me! 
Sure it is human that we wanna be better than somebody else but shouldn't we tell ourself that we are doing all this for us and our body? Shouldn't our goals be that we want to be better than we were yesterday?! That's what I do. I am always looking for new fitspiration but then I addapt it to my lifestyle and my fitness rythm because everybody is different! Of course nobody will tell you : 'Oh cool you re better than me' or 'great you lift more than I do'. So stay focused what do YOU want.

As you might recognized I got a new instagram account. Follow me -> @thepowerinsideme I deleted the old one because I was to busy with this media stuff.. on my new account I ll post less but I hope that I still can motivate some of you! :) so step by.


I never do sports because somebody  is "watching". I do it because I feel great during sports I like the challenge feeling I get in the gym. It is a way I want to live! Thats why I do it because I LOVE it. I don't like it when people copy somebody but most of time they do... I am not afraid of failures cause it is always a lesson! And nobody has the right to judge somebody in the gym! Respect each other and don't drag them down. Everbody is there by choice and everbody has to start somewhere!  Okai sometimes I think : what the hell are they doing here? But immediatly I tell myself don't judge cause you don't know what they have bee through. I prefer to train alone. In sports I am very anti-social.


Tonight I had a second workout 9,5km op cycling an then 500meters to calm my legs down. I FEEL GREAT & now some tea and then it is already bedtime .

Nutella star mini cheat

Hey sweeties I hope you' re enjoying your sunday afternoon.
Well I do but the weather isn't very nice today and I am watching TV and being lazy with my boyfriend. We are enjoying the time together cause we both work so we don't see each other often.
Todays post is about something Michel wanted to try.  As the title already mentioned it is a Nutella star. It is very simple to make but WARNING it's not healthy at all. But hey I am human too and I love to have something yummi like this & I only ate one piece of it so don´t panic :D


Ingredients you need:
  • 1 pot of nutella
  • 3 slices of round puff pastry

how you do it:
  1. Put as many nutella as you like on two slices of your puff pastry
  2. Put the second on the top of the first and do the same with the third slice
  3.  Put a glas upsidedown in the middle
  4.  Cut yout pastry into 16 pieces
  5.  Form it into a star (if you don't know how to do it ake a look at my picture)
  6.  Heat the oven to 200 degrees 
  7. When you´re done put your star into the oven, which you cool down at 160 degrees and let your star bake for 10-15min.

( for those who don't like nutella just take some peanut butter, jam or applesauce)

Spring motivation

What's up fitfam?
Well the last days I really enjoyed the sun during my lunch break. So do you?
At the moment I can't imagine a better lunchtime. I take my meals, a good book (yep I started reading a lot cause I am working at a library shop) and I am enjoying my lunch outside in the sun.

What I am enjoying the most is that I can go for a run or a cycling tour. So I did on wednesday evening, yep when it was already 7:30 p.m and dark outside, but this was no excuse for me. As I got a light on my bicycle where is the problem? I grabbed my brooks, my headphones put on 2 sweatshirts a fluffy jacket my running pants ,a scarf & of course my bicycle.


It was really cold outside only 1degree and as you know when you' re cycling it is even worse!
But I didn't care. As I was thinking all the time during my tour-> GO HARD OR GO HOME! ;)
It felt good after a long day at work just spending the last power I ve got on a 10km tour. (9km cycling & 1km running to 'calm' my legs a bit down)


For today my plan was also going for a longer tour as today is my day off from work. I slept until the postman woke me up at 8:30 a.m. haha
Then I had a quick breakfast and I went for a cycling tour! Again. :) The weather was so great. Sun was up and the sky was almost completly blue. What do you want more? Isn't this the perfect motivation for a friday morning to do sports?
Todays tour was 12km.

Preparation is everything

Hey lovelies! How are you doing. I hope the answer is great.
Well I ve been a bit absent... sorry for that but I've been very stressed the two last weeks.
But here I am again. Last week I went swimming with my love and since last friday my left knee hurt kinda much. I didn't know why and what it was but I was sure that I should take a little break and so I did because it became worse every day. On thursday I couldn't go up or downstairs  at work
without pain but I survived uff!!
Todays post is all about eating healthy or clean even when you re at work or surrounded by yummi unhealthy food in the city area.
At the moment I am working in the city center and I can tell you that I love food but I took my work as an opportunity to eat really healthy.
So Meal prep here we go. I prepared my food and took it to work.

In the morning I  am having oats with almond milk and fruits an a good cup of tea or a bread with some honey. I am a little bit obsessed with honey. It tastes soooo good :)


For lunch I take my meal boxes with me. On sunday I prepare my food till wednesday and than again from wednesday to saturday. If you re organized you don't need to worrry about what you'll eat for lunch.

For lunch I usually have
-chicken, turkey
-whole wheat noodles or rice
-vegetables most of time pepper, eggplant or brocoli
& I drink a lot of water!

In the afternoon I always have a little snack
-fruits ( i just love fruits)
-nuts
-a little ricemilk drink



When I come home I have dinner and this contains often some salad with peppers and tomatoes or just 2 bread and a good tea.

So you see how simple it is to eat clean almost all the time .
