Morning fitfam, as I already announced, yesterday I have been to the last Diamond League meeting of the year. The last meeting always take place in Brussels. My lovely friend Anaïs started our little journey at 10 a.m.
After we arrived at the stadium around 12 o'clock. We stayed at a car park just next to Belgium beautiful monument: the Atomium.
Afterwards we took the metro and went shopping at "la rue neuve" and had a hot chocolate at the big market place. A friend of Anaïs, joined us and at 6 p.m we drove back to the Stadium for the big event & two friends joined us too.
At 6 p.m the pre programm started and at 7 p.m the real stars had their show.
We sat in the D section of the 2nd area so it was just after the arrival line, high jump & javelin. We had a pretty good view even if I prefered the one we had last year.
The highlights were
-Dafne Schippers (NL) won gold at the 200m 22:12sec. ( only two weeks ago she won silver at the world championchip in Peking) before!! Allyson Felix (USA) omg that was such an amazing sprint.

-Justin Gatlin (USA) won gold at the 100m in 9:98sec. But only because Usain Bolt wasn't there. Sorry Gatlin but good job anyway!
-Renaud Lavillenie (FR) won as usually the pole vault by jumping 5,95m So nice to watch him doing this!
-Kuchina Mariya got gold by jumping 2,03m. Simply great to see how high they can jump!
At the end we had 3 concerts and a closing ceremony of course with a hugh firework!
Bye bye brussels see you next year!!
